Silver Clay is a combination of water, binders, and
small particles of either silver or gold. It is molded into a
desired shape then heated in a kiln to remove the binder and fuse
the metal powder into a solid form. The result retains all the marks
of the maker, transformed into a precious and durable object.

Description:
PMC3® fires at very low temperatures and is the
strongest of the PMC varieties. It has a finer, smoother
composition that’s easy to work with and manipulate. You can
also embed findings with confidence—firing at a low
temperature means they won’t be heat-damaged.
Composition: 90% fine
silver powder,;10% water and organic binder Shrinkage: 12%
Physical Properties: Firing temperature: 600°C (1110°F) for
30 minutes; or 650°C (1200°F); for 20 minutes; or 700°C
(1290°F) for 10 minutes • Melting point: 960°C (1762°F) •
Density after firing: 9.3 S.G. (rolled silver = 10.5 S.G.) •
Color: Pickle white

PMC+® like clay. After firing, it comes out of your oven
as a pure silver object.
PMC+ shrinks less and has a stronger molecular bond than
original formula PMC. It fires at a lower temperature,
allowing you to combine sterling findings with your
PMC+ before firing. Create jewelry, beads,
components—anything you can do with clay, you can do with
PMC!

PMC original is a much larger
lump of clay than pmc+, however it's fired weight is almost
the same (1oz.). It is soft and buttery to work with.
Shrinks 29%, fires to .999 fine silver. Great for beginners
as it gives you the largest lump of clay, BUT, you must have
a kiln to fire
PMC Original.

Description: This
22-karat gold variety is the strongest PMC® material
made (as strong as 18K gold) and provides the color and
value of high-karat gold with a toughness usually found only
in lower karats. Its workability is much like PMC3®; it is
water soluble and re-useable. Suitable for torch- or
kiln-firing. After firing, refine it as you would any gold.
Composition: 91.7% pure gold, 8.3% silver, water and
organic binder • Shrinkage: 12% • Color: Rich yellow
Physical Properties: • Firing temperatures: 1290°F (700°C)
